Sun City/Lost City

 The Sun City/Lost City Resort as a business venue has the largest conference, events and exhibition facilities available in the Southern Hemisphere. The complex has the capacity to host 20 or 2 000 delegates, with its state of the art conference and banqueting facilities.

The Cascades Hotel offers peace and serenity, with all rooms facing the tropical gardens complete with tropical bird life as well as the cascading waterfall. This elegantly appointed hotel has 243 rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, telephone, air conditioning, minibar, radio and TV. The luxury rooms also have spa baths, and the suites come complete with Jacuzzi. With a perfect cocktail bar, and two restaurants to choose from, the quiet elegance of this hotel will impress even the most jaded traveler. The Sun City Hotel has 340 rooms, and 5 superb restaurants to choose from.

The Cabanas are family-oriented bungalows, with a choice of en-suite showers, or a full bathroom in the larger Cabanas. The resort has a well thought out and interesting jogging track for those who do not want to miss a day of activity. Nightlife offers a choice of excellent restaurants, as well as first class live entertainment. Gambling at one of the casinos is a must, with their wide choice of tables, slots, and Salon Prive games all offering amazing prizes.

During the day, you can relax quietly next to a pool, or have a day of adrenalin pumping fun at the Valley of the Waves. The Valley of the Waves is a place where you can really let your hair down- parasailing, surfing, wind surfing, water-skiing, canoeing or dropping a heart-stopping 17 metres into a pool, to gently bobbing along the river on a rubber duck. 

The Sun City Lake offers pedalos, wake snakes, and rubber ducks. Waterworld is a haven for children, where professional minders can be hired to look after your children while they swim in the shallow pools, or pet an animal at the animal farm, or partake in any of the safe rides on offer. 

Other sporting activities in or in close proximity to the Sun City Resort Complex, are horse back riding, clay pigeon shooting, archery, tennis, squash, mountain biking, quad bike riding, as well as game viewing and elephant back riding. 

The two internationally acclaimed golf courses, both designed by South African famous golfer, Gary Player, are the two best courses offered in the Southern Hemisphere. The Nedbank Golf Challenge is an important event which draws all of the international and local icons of golf to Sun City every year, in December.

The Lost City  golf course is an  18 hole desert-style golf course, which even has live Nile Crocodiles based at a water hazard, with both  multiple and raised tees, offering a day of exciting golf. The Gary Player Golf Course is where the Nedbank Golf Challenge takes place, and is the perfect golf course for both novice and experts alike. It features 18 holes, with a par of 72.
